The Staff Development Academy (SDA) is available to assist you with your training and development needs. The SDA is based on a proactive philosophy that seeks to stay ahead of staff development issues rather than react to staff development problems. Consider the SDA an answer to many current workforce development questions.

The SDA coordinates registration for courses through the City of Chicago Department of Personnel (DOP).

You may contact the SDA for registration into a City of Chicago, Department of Personnel course. All applications for training must be processed through the SDA registrar.

The SDA is managed by the Associate Vice Chancellor, for the Office of Human Resources and Staff Development. The staff will work with you to provide the highest quality training services possible.
